Dr Walter Chang is a Consultant Ophthalmologist and Director of Southern Eye Centre & Day Surgery.

A graduate of the University of Melbourne, he completed a Masters of Surgery before attaining Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists in 2001. His specialist training included appointments at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and Changi General Hospital.

With over two decades of experience as a consultant ophthalmologist in Melbourne and Sydney, Dr Chang has extensive expertise in comprehensive ophthalmology, cataract and anterior segment surgery, and is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care supported by strong clinical governance and leadership.
